CAFÉ EXPRESS DELUXE SE REFRESHMENT CENTER INSTALLATION

GENERAL INFORMATION

Review the following instructions and safety precautions before beginning installation procedures.

NOTE:

Installation of the upper cabinets, canopy frame and canopy will require the aid of an assistant.

Observe the following DANGER and WARNING statements and procedures. Failure to do so may result in severe
personal injury and (or) damage to the vehicle or property:

DANGER

• Gasoline – Flammable! Do not smoke. Keep sparks and flames away from vehicle and service area.

Tools, wires, and metal objects can cause sparks when “shorted” across a battery. Use insulated
tools. Extreme care should be taken when disconnecting batteries. When wires are disconnected, be
sure to keep them away from battery posts and other wires. Service only in well-ventilated areas.

• Do not operate engine in an enclosed area without proper ventilation. The engine produces carbon

monoxide, which is an odorless, deadly poison.

• Battery – Explosive gases! Do not smoke. Keep sparks and flames away from the vehicle and service

area. Ventilate when charging or operating vehicle in an enclosed area. Wear a full face shield and
rubber gloves when working on or near batteries.

WARNING

• Only trained technicians should repair or service this vehicle. Anyone doing even simple repairs

or service should have knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical repair. Follow all
procedures exactly and heed all warning statements in these instructions.

• Wear safety glasses or approved eye protection while servicing vehicle.

• Turn key switch to the OFF position, place the Forward/Reverse handle in the NEUTRAL position,

and remove the key prior to servicing.

• Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry such as rings, watches, chains, etc. when servicing vehicle.

• To avoid unintentionally starting the vehicle disconnect battery and spark plug wire. See

Disconnecting the Battery – Gasoline Vehicle on page 13.
