PREPARE AND INSTALL THE END PANEL
The end panels attach to each end rafter and cover the
ends of the building. The end panels are held in place using
fabric clips and are tightened using ratchets. Each end
panel is installed in the same manner.
Gather the parts:
• End panel
• Fabric clips #CC6214
(Divide quantity in half: use
half for each end panel.)
• End panel conduit pipe (#131S075)
• End panel conduit pipe (#131P0495)
• Nylon strap (#103620b)
• Tek screws
• Measuring Tape
• Scissors
WARNING:
To prevent damage to the panels and
prevent serious personal injury, do not install the end
panels on a windy day.
NOTE:
Before installing the end panel, check frame for
sharp edges or Tek screw heads that may damage the
panel. File any sharp edges and reposition any Tek screws
that may touch the panel. Apply layers of duct tape over all
pipe joints, clamps and connectors.
Assembly Procedure:
1. Locate the end panel conduit pipes. Each end panel
conduit consists of three (3) 75" pipes, one (1) 49.5"
pipe. Two (2) end panel conduits are required.
2. Assemble an end panel conduit by connecting the 75''
swaged pipes to the 49.5'' plain pipe and secure the
joints using a Tek screws. Tape over the Tek screw to
protect the end panel. Repeat the steps to assemble
the remaining end conduit.
3. Unfold the end panel and place next to the frame.
Position the end panel with the conduit pocket surface
up.
NOTE:
Install the end panel with the conduit pocket
toward the inside of the building.
4. Slide the assembled conduit into the end panel pocket.
5. While standing inside the shelter, start at the peak of
the end rafter and pull the end panel over the top of the
rafter so the material edge is on the inside of the rafter.
NOTE:
The end panel conduit must be few inches
above the ratchets attached to the base rail.
6. Secure the end panel in place at the top center of end
rafter with a fabric clip and Tek screw.
7. Moving outward in both directions, place fabric clips
spaced evenly on rafter.
8. Secure each fabric clip to end rafter with a Tek screw
(on side where it will not contact cover).
NOTE:
The end panels may be shipped as untrimmed
rectangular pieces. If so, use scissors to trim the
excess end panel material inside the shelter to a few
inches past the fabric clip.
9. Repeat steps and secure the remaining end panel in
place using fabric clips and Tek screws.
10. Locate the three (3) ratchets attached to the base rail
of one end frame and cut the
conduit pocket material
above and in line with each ratchet.
Drawing shows a different style building, installation
the same.
NOTE:
Do not cut through the cover material; cut the
conduit pocket only.
