Switch on the vacuum cleaner only when you have checked that all the parts have
been properly attached, and that the dust container and the
fi
lters have been
correctly inserted and are completely dry.
The handle has an exhaust air valve with which you can quickly reduce the suc-
tion force if necessary. Open the valve when cleaning curtains, rugs or other light,
mobile items. Otherwise you should keep the valve closed.
1. Assemble the device in the manner described in the "Assembling the Device" chap-
ter.
2. The mains cable is situated on the back of the vacuum
cleaner, below the button for retracting the cable. Pull the
mains cable out to the length you require, but no further
than the red mark.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket that is easily accessible.
4. Press the
On/Off button
to switch on the device.
5. To switch off the device, press the On/Off button again.
6. Adjust the suction strength with the aid of the suction
strength control.
7. Guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned. The vacuum cleaner can be pulled
along after you like a sledge.
8. After you have
fi
nished vacuuming, press the On/Off button and pull the plug out of
the socket.
9. Hold the mains cable
fi
rmly and press the button for re-
tracting the cable. The cable will automatically be pulled
into the device and wound up there.
10. Empty the dust container regularly (see the "Device
Cleaning" chapter) and store the vacuum cleaner away
after use (see the "Storage" chapter).
