3. Guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned. Check during use whether the max-
imum
fi
ll level (marking) on the collecting container has been reached. If this is the
case, it needs to be emptied.
4. Switch off the cordless vacuum cleaner after use (move On/Off switch to position
0
).
Empty the collecting container and clean the
fi
lter on a regular basis (see the "Clean-
ing the Device and Accessories" chapter).
5. Charge up the battery as well. To do this, place the device in the charging station
which is connected to the mains power.
Cleaning the Device and Accessories
CAUTION!
■
Clean the
fi
lter after each use to maintain good performance and prevent overheating
of the motor.
■
Switch off the device before doing any cleaning of the device and make sure that it is
not connected to the mains power.
■
Keep the motor unit, the charging station, the mains adapter and the cable away from
water or other liquids to avoid electric shocks. Make sure that no liquid gets into the
motor unit during cleaning. Only the collecting container, the
fi
lter and the suction
nozzles may be cleaned with water.
However, they must be completely dry before
they are put back into the device!

The
fi
lter is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble dry-
ing! Never use soap or other cleaning products to clean the
fi
lter. This would cause
damage to the
fi
lter.
■
Only ever dry the
fi
lter in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the de-
vice and accessories. These could damage the surfaces.
• The collecting container needs to be emptied by no later than when it is full up to the
marking, and after each use (see the "Emptying the Collecting Container and Clean-
ing the Filter" section).
• Clean the housing of the motor unit and the charging station if necessary using a
damp, soft cloth. Dry them with a soft cloth.
• Remove hair and
fl
uff from the nozzles at regular intervals.
• Check the mains adapter and the cable for damage at regular intervals.
• Keep the device ready for operation. Charge up the battery after each use (see the
"Charging Up the Battery" chapter).
Emptying the Collecting Container and Cleaning the Filter
1. Switch off the device.
2. Carefully detach the collecting container from the motor unit: Hold the device with
the collecting container pointing downwards and hold this securely. Press the release
button and remove the collecting container from the motor unit.
