Mounting the Charging Station
CAUTION!
■
For the charging station, select a dry location close to a plug socket to which the
mains adapter can be connected.
■
The wall must be able to hold the weight of the cordless vacuum cleaner.
■
Make sure that you do not drill into or destroy any pipes or cables. Find out
where possible pipes or cables may run and avoid them.
1. Now hold the charging station against the chosen location and
mark the drill holes using a pencil.
2. Drill holes at the marked locations.
3. Fasten the charging station to the wall with the appropriate
mounting material.
Make sure that the hook for hanging the
device on is pointing upwards.
Charging Up the Battery
CAUTION!

The battery may only be charged using the mains adapter which is supplied with the
device. Do not use the mains adapter to charge up other batteries.
■
Make sure that the cordless vacuum cleaner is switched off before you charge it.
■
Store the device in the charging station which is connected to the mains power. Do
not allow the battery to run down too low so that it is not damaged.
■
It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you
fi
rst use the device
in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. The
fi
rst charge will last
approx. 12 to 14 hours.
■
If the battery is fully discharged during use, it will take approx. 12 to 14 hours
for the battery to be recharged.
1. Connect the mains adapter to a properly installed, easily accessible plug socket.
2. Make sure that the On/Off switch is in the
0
position. Hook the
device into the wall mounting bracket. The charging control
lamp then lights up.
3. Allow the battery of the device to charge up for approx. 12
– 14 hours before you
fi
rst use it in order to achieve the max-
imum charging capacity. Later it will then take approx. 2 – 4
hours for the battery to be charged.
