The
fi
lters are neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble
drying! Only ever dry the
fi
lters in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These could damage the surfaces.
The
fi
lters may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does not
have any adverse effect on function.
Emptying the dust container
1. Push the release button of the dust container and take it
out of the device by the handle.
2. Hold the dust container over an open dustbin.
3. Press the button to open the dust container. The bottom
of the dust container will open and the dirt will fall out.
4. Shut the dust container bottom again. The fastener must
audibly lock into place.
5. Put the dust container in the device: Take it by the handle and insert it bottom
fi
rst
into the device. Then push the handle towards the device housing until the dust
container audibly clicks into place. Hold the device by the dust container handle and
lift it up to check that the dust container is correctly locked into place.
Cleaning the cyclone insert and motor
fi

The cyclone insert is situated inside the dust container. The motor
fi

the

1. Remove the dust container from the device and empty it (see section “Emptying the
dust container”).
2. Turn the lid of the dust container as far as it will go in an anticlockwise direction.
3. Remove the lid with the cyclone insert (
B
) from the dust
container.
4. Lift the tab on the lid, open the lid and remove the
fi
lter
holder (
C
) and remove the foam
fi
lter.
Please note: The second motor
fi
lter is attached to the
fi
lter holder and cannot be removed from the holder!
5. Tap out all the parts over a bin and brush away any loose
dirt.
6. You can clean the cyclone insert and dust container with
a damp cloth.
7. After drying, place the foam
fi
lter back into the
fi
lter holder and replace the holder
onto the cyclone insert. Close the lid so that it audibly locks into place.
Attention: Never put damp parts back into the dust container!
