 CAUTION: 

•  Do not spray the device with cleaning agents.

•  Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.

•  Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

Filter

When using the unit daily, clean the fi lter every 2 weeks. If dust in the 

fi lters blocks the air circulation, effi cient operation of the unit can no longer 

be guaranteed.
1.  Remove the exhaust air hose with the adapter.

2.  Pull out the two fi lters on the side of the appliance. 

3.  Remove the two fi lters on the rear of the appliance. Use a tool (for 

example, a screwdriver). Attach the tool to the locking tabs and lever 

the cover off.

4.  Vacuum the fi lters for cleaning.

5.  Clean the fi lters under running water. If necessary, use a mild deter-

gent.

6.  Let the fi lters air-dry in a shady place. 

7.  Reinstall the fi lters when completely dry. 

 CAUTION: 

Do not operate the unit without the fi lter!

Housing

•  Use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the fi ns and ventilation openings.

•  Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth.

Seasonal cleaning and storage

When not using the unit for a long period of time, proceed as follows:
1.  Empty the water tank as described above.

2.  Operate the appliance for 2 hours in “Cooling” mode   with a temper-

ature above room temperature, so that the appliance runs without the 

compressor and only the fan is used. This dries the appliance from the 

inside. 

3.  Press the POWER button to turn off the unit. Disconnect the mains 

plug from the wall socket.

4.  Disconnect the fl exible exhaust pipe from the unit.

5.  an the fi lters and the unit as described above.

6.  Cover the unit with foil.

7.  Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well 

ventilated place.
