Anomalies Causes and repairs
The generator does not start
(red light is off)
Make sure that:
- the electrical connection is correct
- If a room thermostat is installed, check that it is not set below the
room temperature.
The fan does not work (red
light is off)
Check :
- the motor power cable;
- the F1 protection fuse
- the fuel pump; if it is seized, it must be replaced.
The fan comes on but there
is no combustion (after a few
seconds the RESET button
lights up)
- Check the fuel level;
- Check that the fuel filter is not clogged;
- Check that the nozzle is not clogged;
- Check that there is no air in the fuel system:
Make sure that the glass ball of the fuel filter is properly screwed in and
that the O-ring seal is properly positioned in its seat.
- The photocell is dirty: remove it from its support and clean it.
- Check that the plastic seal between the motor and the fuel pump is in
good condition: if it is broken, it must be replaced.
- The combustion control box is defective: replace it.
- Check whether there is a spark between the electrodes. If not, check
position and
If not, check the position and condition of the electrodes and high
voltage cables. Check if the transformer is burned.
The device overheats during
use
- Fuel flow is too high due to nozzle wear or normal operation. Use of a
nozzle with different characteristics than the original.
- Combustion air flow is too low due to incorrect adjustment of the
combustion head fins.
- Obstructions in the ventilation air path.
When the unit is switched off

The device emits white smoke
- Excessive combustion air or poor quality fuel.
- Impurities in fuel; clean tank, glass and lines. Replace fuel.
- Air setting has been changed; reset fins to original position.
The device emits black smoke
- Too little combustion air or too much fuel flow due to
due to :
- Nozzle is out of adjustment or not in compliance: replace;
- Incorrect fuel pressure;
- Deflector disk is clogged: clean.
- Incorrect air setting: reset the fins to their original position.
