Off (without room thermostat)
• Turn the switch to the OFF position.
• Combustion stops automatically but the fan continues to cool the interior of the unit. During
this phase, the fan may operate continuously or intermittently until the unit is completely cooled
down, as measured by the post-cooling thermostat on the boiler.
CLEANING THE DEFLECTOR DISC
• The deflector disk is an integral part of the cone nozzle.
• To clean it, it is necessary to remove it from its support as follows
- Detach the diesel hose;
- Remove the photocell and the H.T. cables from the electrodes;
- Unscrew the 4 screws that fix the combustion head to the boiler (the
head will be completely removed);
• Unscrew the 2 screws; the entire inner part of the combustion head is removed,
leaving only the cylindrical body and the conical end accessible for cleaning.
N.B. When reassembling the head after cleaning, avoid moving the nozzle support. If necessary, make sure
that the nozzle is aligned with the defl ector disk. Always respect the position of the electrodes and the
inclination of the air control blades.
MAINTENANCE
The recommended frequency of maintenance is based on an average of 8 to 10 hours of operation
per day.
• Clean the photocell, the ignition electrodes and the air defl ector every month.
• Every two months clean the fuel fi lter.
• Every six months clean the fuel tank.
• Every three months, or every 300 working hours, replace the diesel filter.
• Remove the photocell.
• Clean the lens with a soft, clean cloth.
• Insert the photocell back into its seat, paying attention to the centering
tooth.
