SMOKE LEAK DETECTOR
ACCESSORY DETAILS
• Conical adapter
For intake and exhaust, provides system sealing and allows smoke to be injected into the
system. In Turbo (high pressure) mode it may be necessary to manually maintain this cone.
• Power cord
Connects the machine to the vehicle battery (12V) or an auxiliary battery.
• Smoke Distribution Hose
Provides smoke routing from the unit to the conical adapter/universal fl ask or directly to
the suction pipe.
The smoke nozzle at the end of the pipe can be removed, if the fuel system kit is to be
installed to test the EVAP system, or to install the smoke diff user or to use the leakage
size template.
• Funnel
Help to fi ll the machine.
• Universal bladder
For intake and exhaust, provides system sealing and allows smoke to be injected into the
system. Especially when the element to be connected to is not perfectly round. In most
cases, use the adapter cone instead.
1. Clean the inner wall
2. Close the valve (A) next to the hand pump (B).
3. Insert the balloon (C) instead of the intervention.
4. Infl ate the cylinder (C) with the hand pump (B)
until it is completely sealed.
5. The system is now ready to be tested, to
introduce air/smoke by plugging the smoke
nozzle into the opening of the tube (D).
6. After the test, remove the smoke nozzle, release the air from the fl ask by opening the
valve (A).
7. Clean the storage adapter, avoid contact with corrosive liquids.
• Replacement rubber for the suction bladder
The rubber of the suction bladder can be easily damaged if it is not used correctly and
carefully.
The rubber can be replaced with a new one without replacing the entire suction bladder
• Test liquid 250ml
Ecological test liquid based on mineral oil (food type). If the test liquid is not readily
available, another option is to use only medicinal mineral oil or baby oil that does not
contain lotions, aloe, vegetable oil or creams. An added fragrance is possible.
