7. Using ATV (Analogue TV)
Getting started
• Make sure the aerial is properly connected.
• Connect the DC plug from the adaptor or the 12/24 V adaptor to DC 9 V IN
socket (2). Then connect the adaptor to a wall socket or the 12/24 V adaptor to
your car’s cigarette outlet (making sure the polarity in the socket is correct first).
• Set the switch [POWER ON/OFF] (1) to the ON position.
• Adjust the monitor position for best possible viewing.
ATV menu
Press [DTV/ATV/AV] (16), and select ATV. Press [MENU] (6) to display the
ATV menu.
1. Press [CH+] (7) or [CH-] (11) to browse through the menu.
2. Push [VOL+] (20) to enter the desired submenu
3. Change settings with [VOL+] (20) or [VOL-] (8).
A. Picture
1. Brightness
2. Contrast
3. Colour
4. Reset
B. System
1. Language: Sets the language (English, Swedish,
and Norwegian).
2. Clock: Sleep timer with automatic shut-off after:
30 minutes – 60 minutes – 90 minutes –
120 minutes – OFF
3. Picture format: 4:3 or 16:9.
4. Picture positioning: Upside down, mirror or normal.
5. Blue back: Blue background when no channel exists.
C. Preset
1. Position: Channel no.
2. Remember: Save channel
3. Auto-Search: Automatic programme search.
Acquired programmes saved to memory.
4. Fine: Fine channel adjustment
5. Search: Selects frequency for manual search
6. Sound-Sys: Selects audio system I, BG or DK,
set to BG in the Nordic countries.
7. Color-Sys: Selects the TV system PAL or SECAM,
set to PAL in the UK and nordic countries.
