Tip-over switch
• The fan heater is fitted with a tip-over switch (8) safety cut-off protection device
which switches the fan heater off if it falls over or is not vertical.
• The fan heater will start working again once it has been returned to the upright
position on a level surface.
Care and maintenance
• Switch the heater off, unplug it from the power outlet socket and let it cool.
• Clean the fan heater using a damp cloth. Clean the air inlet (6) and the air outlet (4)
with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
• Store the fan heater in a dry location when not in use.
Troubleshooting guide
The fan heater
does not start.
• Make sure that the fan heater is standing upright and that it is
placed on a level surface, otherwise the tip-over switch might
have been triggered.

Turn the thermostat knob clockwise
• Is the mains lead intact and properly plugged into the wall socket?

The fan heater
starts but stops
after a short time.
• The thermostat is set to a lower temperature than the current
room temperature. Check the thermostat setting.
