STARTING WORK:
•
Ensure the work area is as hazard free as
possible.
•
Select and install the tool to be
used,(see paragraph
2
).
•
If required set the depth stop and adjust
the support handle attachment for the
most comfortable position, (see fig.3). To
install the depth stop loosen the support
handle by turning it anticlockwise. Insert
the depth stop rod through the hole in the
support handle and set to the required
depth, adjust the position of the handle
attachment if required and secure in
place by re-tightening the support
handle.
•
For safety, always use the hammer drill
with the handle attached.
•
Set the required mode, (see paragraph
5
).
•
When drilling vertically overhead, fit the rubber
dust collector onto the drill (see fig.4).
•
Position the tool against the surface to be drilled,
depress the OFF lock knob (10) and then squeeze
the trigger switch (3).
NOTE: if using the hammer action DO NOT start
the drill until the tool is in contact with the
surface to be drilled/chiselled etc.

DRILL MODE SELECTION
•
HAMMER STOP:
Your drill is equipped with a hammer stop facility for smoother drilling. To select
this mode turn the hammer control switch (7) to the position marked:

Depress the lock pin (9) then turn the drill control (8) so that the position marked:
coincides with the arrow on the machines case.
