ADJUSTING THE DEPTH OF CUT
1. Install the cutter into the router and put the router on a flat surface.
2. Release the plunge lock lever and
lower the router body until the bit
just touches the surface, then
apply the plunge lock to lock the
router in position.
3. Slacken the depth stop locking
knob and lower the depth stop
until the rod touches the turret at
its lowest setting.
• Rotate the turret if needed.
4. Twist the main adjuster and the
fine depth adjuster until the scale
for each one reads zero. This is
your starting point.
5. Turn the knob to raise the height
of the main depth stop by the depth you want to cut into the workpiece.
• The scale is marked in mm.
6. Tighten the depth stop locking knob to secure the setting.
USING THE FINE DEPTH ADJUSTER
1. Make fine adjustments by twisting
the fine depth adjuster.
• This is calibrated in 0.2 mm
increments
• Twisting clockwise will drive the
stop rod towards the turret
stop, reducing the depth of
plunge.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR OR DIFFICULTY
CONTROLLING THE TOOL, THE DEPTH OF CUT SHOULD BE LIMITED TO 5-6
MM IN EACH PASS. IF YOU REQUIRE MORE THAN THIS MAKE MULTIPLE
CUTS WITH GRADUALLY DEEPER SETTINGS.
