BEVEL CUTS
Bevel angles can be set from 45° left to vertical.
1. Loosen the bevel adjustment
handle.
2. Set the bevel to the correct angle
as shown on the scale.
3. Tighten the bevel adjustment
handle.
4. Continue as for a vertical straight
cross-cut.
• For bevel cuts, the clamp must
only be attached to the right side of the table.
5. Every time you change the bevel
angle, make sure the adjustable
fences are set correctly to support
the workpiece and will not
interfere with the blade or the
guarding system.
• The gap between the fence
and the blade should be a
maximum of 8mm.
COMPOUND MITRE CUTS
A compound mitre is a cut made using a mitre angle and a bevel angle at the
same time. This is the type of cut used to make frames or boxes with slanting
sides.
1. Set your saw to the necessary
angles.
• Always try cuts on scrap pieces
of wood to verify the settings on
the saw.
2. Practice fitting the cut pieces
together.
