2. Swing the groove plate to the
side.
3. Loosen the locking ring (2) and
screw out the depth rod (1).
4. Lower the saw head so that the
bottom of the blade is at the
height required.
• Ideally, put a piece of wood,
the same thickness as the saw
blade height below the blade.
5. Adjust the depth rod (1) so that it
just touches the groove plate (3), then tighten the locking ring (2).
• The width of the groove will be the width of the saw blade. However, by
moving the workpiece along in small increments, it is possible to cut
grooves to any width.
6. Before reverting to normal cutting, remember to return the groove plate to
its normal position.
TRANSPORTING THE SAW
1. Lower the head and lock it down
using the head lock pin.
