REMOVING DUAL LOCK PATCHES FROM THE WALL
Tools Needed
•
Stiff putty knife.
•
Soft hammer.
•
Goo Gone brand or solvent
.
Removal Process
1.
Use a stiff putty knife and soft hammer.
See Figure 9.
2.
Drive the putty knife behind the Dual Lock patch.
3.
The putty knife should be dull, and the hammer should be soft, so they don’t damage
the wall.
4.
Repeat on all sides until patch is removed.
5.
To remove any remaining material, use mineral spirits, nail polish remover or Goo
Gone brand glue remover.

NOTE:
Dual Lock patches may not be reused. If you are mounting the mirror in a new location,
order a Dual Lock replacement kit from ClearMirror.
