• This remote control may only be installed and started up
for the first time by an authorized specialized company .
Responsibility for compliance with the applicable standards
and installation regulations rests entirely on the company
installing the appliance . We cannot accept any liability
for damage and losses due to noncompliance with these
instructions . Read this manual completely before starting
up the remote control .
• The handling of the appliance and the remote control are
equitable . The last set temperature will be used by the
instantaneous water heater . Make sure not to set a high
temperature, inadvertently . We recommend to activate the
temperature limit function (see manual of the instantane-
ous water heater) .
• Flat batteries can leak and damage the remote control .
Hence, replace flat batteries right away as soon as battery
symbol lights up in the display or the remote control does
not response after keystroke .
1. Safety notes
• When the remote control is not to be used in the long
term, remove the batteries .
• Do not expose the remote control to moisture .
• Keep the remote control and wall bracket away from credit
cards or other cards with magnetic strips . The built in mag-
nets can damage the card’s magnetic strip .
• This appliance can be used by children aged 3 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or ins truction concern-
ing use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved . Children shall not play with the appliance .
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by
children without supervision .
• At malfunction of the remote control remove the batteries
immediately .
