Battery installation
1.
Press the two side buttons on the front panel then insert one new 9V
Alkaline battery into the terminal.
2.
Replace the battery back into the housing.
3.
Battery power level indicator on the LCD display appears as:

BA
full
battery power,
BA T T E RY
BA
low battery power.
Notes:
• Use only Alkaline batteries.
• Battery power level indicator flashes when battery is running low:
battery should be replaced.
• Replace the battery at the beginning of the watering season.
• Settings are retained for 10 minutes while battery is removed.
• When timer is not in use for an extended period of time, remove the
battery to avoid oxidization.
If battery dies during a watering cycle, unit will operate until
the end of the scheduled program in progress. Once valve is
closed, battery should be replaced within 10 minute to retain
all programs.
