• When the back-light of the dispay is off, it can be switched on simply
by pressing any one of the buttons.
• The buttons can be used to program the timer only when the back-
light is on (programming enabled).
• The back-light display will go dark automatically after 30 seconds if
no buttons are pressed, to prolong the life of the batteries.
• At time of programming the timer automatically sets itself on a clock
based on the watering frequency selected.
• Programs can be set to operate in a SEQUENTIAL or OVERLAP mode.
By changing the mode after programs have been entered, the mode
selected will be kept but not the programs previously set ( see Selec-
tion of Sequential/Overlap Mode on page 13 ).
