The cleaning cloths may still be very hot shortly after use. If you want to remove them, wait
until they have cooled off and the device no longer emits any steam.
❐
Never use the device without water.
❐
Always test clean a small, inconspicuous area to ensure that the material is suitable for steam
cleaning.
❐
Only store the device once it has cooled off completely.
What to keep in mind before use
• The safety switch has a child lock (rear position). When engaged, the steam trigger cannot
be depressed.
• Check to make sure enough water is in the water tank each time before using the device.
• The
fi
rst time you use the device or if it has not been used for a prolonged period of time,
it may take some time for steam to be produced after being turned on since the lines in the
device have not yet
fi
lled with water. Steam can only be emitted once the device has reached
its operating temperature and the corresponding device parts have
fi
lled with water. For this,
press down the steam trigger several times.
Use as a
fl
oor steam cleaner
It is recommended that you brie
fl
y sweep the
fl
oor surface with a broom or vacuum it before
using the device.
1. Prepare the device as described in the chapter “Start-up”, section “Attaching a

2. Fill the water tank with water (see chapter “Start-up”, section “Filling the water tank”).
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
4. Push the On/Off switch. The power light and the heat control light will activate. The heating
control light turns off after approximately 8 minutes once the device has reached the oper-
ating temperature.
5. Press the safety switch to the intermediate (high steam setting) or forward
position (low steam setting). This releases the child lock at the same time.
6. Pushing the steam trigger will emit steam from the

the steam trigger as needed.

but always on the plug. Push down the steam trigger to release any residual vapour. Engage
the child lock by pushing the safety button to the back position. Wait a few minutes so that
the device and
fl
oor cleaning cloth can cool off.
Please note that when you stow the
device, a wet area may form under the
fl
oor nozzle.
Afterwards, you can change the
fl
oor cleaning cloth.
8. If the water tank is empty and steam is no longer produced, push the On/Off switch and pull
the mains plug out of the socket; the power light will turn off. Push down the steam trigger to
release any residual steam and pressure until no more steam is emitted. Engage the child lock
by pushing the safety button to the back position. Wait until the device has cooled off. Fill the
water tank (see chapter “Start-up”, section “Filling the water tank”).
9. Once you are done cleaning, push the On/Off switch and pull the mains plug out of the sock-
