17.9. Calibration of pipettes

Function of pipettes calibration refers to pipettes with stable and changeable capacity.
During the procedure precision and repeatability errors both are defined. For pipettes with
changeable capacity errors are defined for Max, Min and ½ Max.

All pipettes are checked according to precision and repeatability norm PN-EN ISO
8655:2003.

To ensure precise measurements keep following environmental conditions:

Temperature of environment, tip and liquid should be 20°C - 25°C stabilized

during weighing in range of ± 0.5.C

Moisture about 50 - 75%

Use distillated water only in a calibration process.
