5. From a PC on the remote network make sure that you can reliably ping the
Remote.
6. From a PC on the corporate network make sure you can reliably ping the
PBXgateway on the remote network.
Optional Configuration Method
There are optional configuration parameters also available to the administrator.
Enabling the Management Browser
The Remote can also be configured via an HTML interface. The Web Server
feature must first be enabled in order to administer the units with this method.
1.
Web Server
– In order to configure the units using the Management Browser
(MB) the Web Server must be set to “Enabled.”
Path:
Remote->Configuration->IP->LAN
2. There must also be a valid IP
Address
entered for the Remote.
Path:
Remote->Configuration->IP->LAN->Address
Additional Management Browser parameters can also be configured either prior
to launching the MB or any time after.
3.
Web Timeout
– This parameter determines the amount of time a
Management Browser screen can be left idle (no programming activity)
before the session is terminated.
Path:
Remote->Configuration->IP
4.
Web Refresh LED
– The Port Status LEDs update every 10 seconds. If the
frequent updates are found to be a hindrance the LED refreshing can be
disabled.
