Using the Phone Directories

STEP 3
Enter the phone number, including any digits you must dial to access an outside
line and the appropriate area code, if necessary.
STEP 4
(Optional) To change the ring type for the caller:
a. Press the o
option softkey.
b. Scroll through the available ring types.
c. Press the p
play softkey to play the selected ring tone or the s
select softkey to
assign that ringtone to the person whose number you are adding to the
directory.
STEP 5
Press s
save to save the entry.
Using the Corporate Directory
NOTE
Depending on your Internet Telephony Service Provider or corporate network
setup, you may not have a corporate directory available to you.
To use the corporate directory:
STEP 1
Press the d
dir softkey, or press the S
Setup button and select D
Directory.
STEP 2
Select C
Corporate Directory.
STEP 3
Choose and entry and press the d
dial softkey. Press c
cancel to exit.
To use the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory:
STEP 1
Press the d
dir softkey, or press the S
Setup button and select D
Directories.
STEP 2
Scroll to the L
LDAP Directory Name and press S
Select.
NOTE
The name of the LDAP directory is configured by the phone administrator and can
differ.
