Modifying SNMP Group Profile Settings

SNMP Group Profile Settings Page
The
SNMP Group Profile Settings Page
contains the following fields:
•
Group Name
— Displays the user-defined group to which access control rules are applied. The field
range is up to 30 characters.
•
Security Model
— Defines the SNMP version attached to the group.
•
Security Level
— Defines the security level attached to the group. Security levels apply to SNMPv3
only.
•
Operation
— Defines the group access rights. The options for each operation Read, Write and
Notify are as follows:

Defining SNMP Communities
The Access rights are managed by defining communities in the
SNMP Communities Page
. When the
community names are changed, access rights are also changed. SNMP communities are defined only for
SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c.The SNMP Communities Page contains two areas, the Basic Table and the
Advanced Table. To define SNMP Communities:
