Edit Port Settings Page

The

Edit Port Settings Page

contains the following fields:

•

Port

— Displays the port number.

•

Description

— Displays the device port ID.

•

Port Type

— Displays the port type. The possible field values are:

–

Copper/ComboF/ComboC

—

Indicates the port has a copper port connection.

–

Fiber —

Indicates the port has a fiber optic port connection.

•

Admin Status

— Enables or disables traffic forwarding through the port.

•

Current Port Status —

Displays the port connection status.

•

Reactivate Suspended Port

— Reactivates a port if the port has been disabled through the locked

port security option.

•

Operational Status

— Defines whether the port is currently operational or non-operational.

•

Admin Speed

— The configured rate for the port. The port type determines what speed setting

options are available. You can designate admin speed only when the port auto-negotiation

disabled.

•

Current Port Speed —

Displays the current port speed.

•

Admin Duplex

—

Displays the port duplex mode. This field is configurable only when auto

negotiation is disabled, and the port speed is set to 10M or 100M. This field cannot be configured on
LAGs. The possible field values are:
