Defining Port Settings

Port Type
— Displays the port type. The possible field values are:
–
Copper/ComboF/ComboC
—
Indicates the port has a copper port connection.
–
Fiber —
Indicates the port has a fiber optic port connection.
•
Port Status —
Displays the port connection status.
•
Port Speed —
Displays the current port speed.
•
Duplex Mode
— Displays the port duplex mode. This field is configurable only when auto
negotiation is disabled, and the port speed is set to 10M or 100M. This field cannot be configured on
LAGs. The possible field values are:

Full
—
Indicates that the interface supports transmission between the device and the client
in both directions simultaneously.
–
Half
—
Indicates that the interface supports transmission between the device and the client
in only one direction at a time.
•
PVE
— Indicates that this port is protected by an uplink, so that the forwarding decisions are
overwritten by those of the port that protects it.
•
LAG
— Defines if the port is part of a Link Aggregation (LAG).
2. Define the relevant fields.
