Chapter 1      Overview

  Port Adapter Slot Locations by Platform

Cisco 7505 routers have four slots for port adapters, and one slot for an RSP. The slots are numbered 
from bottom to top. You can place the port adapters in any of the VIP interface slots (slot 0 through 
slot 3). One slot is always reserved for the RSP. 

Figure 1-11

 shows the slot numbering on a Cisco 7505 

router.
