Router Configuration Requirements

This section is a list of configuration requirements for Cisco 700 series routers when using
specific switch types. After your ISDN line is ordered and installed, if your router does not
automatically detect the switch type, you can use the configuration information in this
section to configure your Cisco 700 series router.

Configuration Requirements for NI1

Table C-7 lists the router configuration requirements when using Cisco 700 series routers
with an Lucent 5ESS NI1 switch in a multipoint configuration.

Note

The NI1 switch does not support a point-to-point configuration.
