Connect the RJ-45 connector to the Console port of the adaptive security
appliance as shown in
Figure 3-10

Connect to the Auxiliary port (labeled AUX).
a.
Locate the serial console cable, which has an RJ-45 connector on one end and
a DB-9 connector on the other end for the serial port on your computer.
b.
Connect the RJ-45 connector of the cable to the Auxiliary port (labeled AUX)
on the adaptive security appliance, as shown in
Figure 3-11
.
c.
Connect the other end of the cable, the DB-9 connector, to the serial port on
your computer.
