5 MAINTENANCE
5.1 Troubleshooting
In case of false alarm, check the parameters recorded during the installation phase (on
attached testing form), if there are divergences with permitted limits check again the related
points in chapter "Adjustment and Testing (4)"
Fault
Possible reason
Possible solution
Power Supply LED Off
( Tx and / or Rx )
- No Power
- Cable disconnected
- Check connection
+ 13,8 V not correct and / or not
sufficient ( see par. 3.2.1)
- Length and / or cable section
not proper
- Modify connection and / or
cable
Channel LED off
- Channel selection wrong
- Tx or Rx fault
- Set the same channel on Tx
and Rx
- Change circuit Tx or Rx
Alarm LED on
- Movement or obstacle in the
protected field
- Heads not aligned
- Ensure that nothing is in the
field
- Remake the alignment ( see par
4.1.1 or 4.1.2 )
VRag High
- Heads not aligned
- Obstacle in the field
- Low transmitter signal
- Fault circuit
- MW receiver fault
- Do the alignment
- Remove obstacles
- Check Tx
- Change Rx Kit
- Change Rx Kit
Tamper relay open
- Micro-switch open
- Antiremoval bulb in wrong
position ( not vertical )
- Check micro-swith
- Check position of antiremoval
bulb
Fault LED On
(
only Tx S version
)
- BF oscillator fault
- MW oscillator fault
- Change Tx Kit
- Change Tx Kit
5.2 Maintenance kits, use and function
The maintenance Kits are composed by circuits equipped with microwave cavities, their
substitution is very easy:
Unlock the only one fixing screw and install the new circuit into related plastic guides present
on the bottom box.
The circuit and cavity substitution on both transmitter and receiver heads
doesn’t changes the
heads alignment
, and so no new alignment is required
