6 Firmware

It is recommended to use a computer or laptop with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7 with automatic
screen savers and screen time-outs disabled.

6.1

PWC808 Firmware Upgrade (USB Method)

This procedure upgrades the firmware for the projector’s network functionality, and is approximately 10
minutes in duration.

6.1.1 Equipment Needed

Software

Use the relevant file for your operating system:

• Christie ESeries PWC808_Bxxxx_x32_128M (32-bit operating systems)

• Christie ESeries PWC808_Bxxxx_x64_128M (64-bit operating systems)

NOTE:

''xxxx'' represents the software version. Example, “B21.37”.

Hardware

• Projector

• Power Cord

• Mini USB to USB(A) cable (PC to Projector)

• PC or Laptop

NOTE:

The FW upgrade procedure uses DHD670-E as an example. The procedure is the same as for

DHD675-E, DWU675-E, DHD775-E and DWU775-E.
