Grains fall then on a worm screw which drive them to the cylindri-
cal sieves:

broken grain and small impurities go through the first sieve’s ori-
fices,
❏
good grain go through the second sieve’s orifices,
❏
big impurities that did not go through any of the sieves exit at the
extremity of the drum.
■
Good grain and broken grain are collected into two hoppers in
which they are weighed respectively by scales B2 and B3.

They are then dropped into drawer compartments.
■
The QUATUOR proceeds with the calculation of percentages of
impurities or good grain, according to parameters configuration, and
print them out automatically if a printer is connected.
Note
The duration of the complete cycle (with debearding) is approxi-
mately 1min. 30sec.
