3. Utilization
After the power-up sequence, the main menu is displayed: it
mentions the name of the grain selected before the last power-off,
and allows by simply pressing the key
to start a measurement
cycle.
A bargraph illustrates the memory space occupation level.
3.1 Basic use

Precautions
Before starting any test cycle, make sure the Aqua-TR drawer
is present.
The apparatus must always be kept upright.

Operation modes
■
Manual mode:
Standard mode with normal drawer.
Cycle resets when the drawer is back in its place.
■
Automatic mode (continuous):
Requires the removal of the drawer bottom and the change of the
corresponding settings (see
"Setup menu", page 71 ).
This mode allows to use the Aqua-TR in a test line including other
apparatuses upstream or downstream. The Aqua-TR can for
example be utilized together with an infra-red analyser.
