Gaps:
Gaps are caused by too much retraction or by setting the nozzle
too high above the printing platform. It is suggested that you
decrease the retraction value.
f.
Skewing:
(i) The moving speed may be too fast. Decrease the speed to reduce
skewing.
(ii) The model may have issues with its geometry which can cause a
ske o sla t he
generating the G-code. The quickest way to
resolve this issue is to change the size of the model [slightly larger
or slightly smaller] or the shape of the model [slightly wider or
slightly thinner].

Too much chocolate:
Too much chocolate is being extruded at the beginning of a print.
The initial extrusion value is too high, or there is excess pressure
inside the syringe.
4.8.2 Maintenance
a.
No retraction:
If the retraction value has been set accurately, tighten the screws of
the E-axis.
b.
Loose printing head:
The screws have become loose due to vibration. Tighten the four
screws on the back and the screw on the top.
c.
Unusual noises:
Too much noise during printing means that the printer has been
working for a long time and the screw rod has gotten dry. The screw
rod (and possibly the sliding block) needs to be lubricated in order
to make the screw rod operate smoothly.
d.
Rubber bung stuck
It is advisable to wash the syringe every time after use, otherwise
in syringe:
the rubber bung may stick inside the syringe. Although the rubber
bung is medical grade rubber, it will wear out after using it for a long
time and will need to be replaced. Replace the rubber bung with an
identical replacement. If the rubber bung does get stuck inside the
syringe, put the syringe in 60°C water for a while and remove the
bung with tweezers.
