UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown on the
Parts List on page 13
are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the
number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE:
For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer
to the
Assembly Diagram
on
page 13

1.
WARNING!
Always make sure the Power Cord (part #43) of the Drywall
Screwdriver is unplugged from its electrical outlet
prior
to adding any accessories
or making any adjustments to the tool.

To Change Bit Tip Holders:
1.
Pull forward on the Depth Collar (part #2) and remove it from the Clutch Housing
(part #5).
(See Figure A.)
2.
Pull the Bit Tip Holder (part #4) straight out with pliers if it is difficult to remove.
(See Figure A.)
3.
Push the new Bit Tip Holder (part #4) into the Spindle (part #7) until the shank of
the Bit Tip Holder snaps in place.

4.
Replace the Depth Collar (part #2) onto the Clutch Housing (part #5). Make sure
to align the ribs on the inside of the Depth Collar with the grooves on the outside
of the Clutch Housing before snapping the Depth Collar in place.
