1.

WARNING!  Make sure the Trigger (7) of the Carver/Chipping Tool is in its
“OFF” position and that the tool is unplugged from its electrical outlet before
performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.

2.

BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Carver/Chipping Tool.
Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or
broken parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect
its safe operation.  If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem cor-
rected before further use.

Do not use damaged equipment.

3.

After each use, wipe down the tool with a lint free cloth.   Do not immerse the tool
in liquid or use harsh solvents or bleach to clean the tool.

4.

Before each use, check to see the Chuck is clear of any dirt or debris.

5.

Check that the Power Cord has no frays, tears, or signs of wearing.  Do not use
the unit if the Power Cord shows any signs of damage.  Have it repaired by an
authorized factory technician.

6.

Check the bits before you use the unit.  Only use bits that are sharp.  Never use
a bit that is dull, cracked, or chipped.  Have dull bits sharpened by a qualified
technician.  Discard chipped or cracked bits.
