the vehicle, and set the vehicle’s emergency brake.
2.
Select the appropriate size Socket (23, 24, 25, or 26) with which to
remove the Lug Nuts on the vehicle’s wheel. Then, attach the Socket
to the Impact Wrench.
(See Figure A.)
UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown on the

Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as
possible.
Function
Note that this 12 volt Impact Wrench operates differently than 115
volt or air impart wrenches. The motor will run to build inertia, then will strike a
blow of the hammer. This is repeated, becoming more rapid with decreased
resistance. This is normal operation for this product.
3.
If the vehicle’s cigarette lighter fuse is
below 15 amps
, you will need
to use the vehicle’s battery as an electric power source, using the
Battery Clamps (27). To do so attach the
Red positive (+)
Clamp to
the
positive (+)
terminal on the vehicle’s battery. Then, attach the
Black negative (-)
Clamp to the
negative (-)
terminal on the
vehicle’s battery then connect the Lead Wire Plug (19) to the Battery
Clamps.
(See Figure B, next page.)
4.
If the vehicle’s cigarette lighter fuse is
above 15 amps
, you may use
the vehicle’s cigarette lighter receptacle as an electric power source.
To do so, remove the cigarette lighter and insert the Lead Wire Plug
(19) firmly into the cigarette lighter receptacle.
(See Figure C,
next page.)
