If any malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Call
Customer Service. (See “2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY” Section
immediately below).
2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Thank you for purchasing our products! CHI Home wants you to be
satisfied with your appliance purchase and makes the following two (2)
year limited warranty for CHI Home appliances purchased through an
authorized retailer:
What CHI Home Will Do:
CHI Home will replace your appliance free
of charge for twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase if the
appliance is defective in workmanship or materials. The replacement
appliance is warranted for the remainder of the original two (2) year
warranty period. If the appliance model sent in is no longer available,
and it is determined that it should be replaced, it will be replaced with a
comparable appliance.
What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
This warranty does not cover
(A)
any steel parts, plastic parts, or flex cord;
(B)
damages caused by
negligence, misuse, tampering, or alteration of the appliance;
(C)
failure
to follow safety, operation or maintenance instructions or the Owner’s
Manual;
(D)
appliances purchased through any internet auction site,
internet sales not associated with an authorized retaier, or from any other
outlet that is not an authorized retailer; or
(E)
alteration or removal of
the model number or other identifying marks on the appliance or the
packaging. Further, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from
normal wear and tear.
How to Make a Warranty Claim:
Save your original receipt. Then either:
(A)
Kindly refer to each individual retailers return policy for a timely return.
If this period of time has expired, please contact CHI Home Customer
Service as outlined below.
(B)
Contact CHI Home Customer Service at 877.652.0817 if you have
any questions regarding your appliance. Send your appliance, along
with a note explaining the malfunction or problem being experienced, the
original receipt indicating the location and date of purchase, and a check
or money order made payable to CHI Home in the amount of $15.00 US
to cover shipping and handling (United States only: California residents
are not required to send payment), to the following address:
