OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
When plugging the appliance into the outlet prior to use, be aware that
the appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As
a safety feature this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

BASIC OPERATIONS
Plug the heated round brush into the correct power supply. The CHI
Air Amplitude Heated Round Brush display is turned ON and OFF by
pushing the “Power Button” on the handle. The display will light up to
show the iron is on. Use the “Temperature Control” buttons, labeled as
+ (plus) and - (minus) to set the correct temperature depending on hair
type.
Fifteen (15) seconds after selecting the desired temperature, the
temperature control display has been locked.
As the heated round brush heats up, the digital numbers will blink two (2)
times to alert you that the selected temperature is set.
The heated round brush automatically locks after 15 seconds. To unlock

Press down the “Power Button” to shut OFF the iron. After one hour on
non-use, the brush will automatically shut off.
MAINTENANCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed.
Keep heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If
cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power
source, allow to cool completely and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
Allow to completely dry before next use. Do not use abrasive cleansers
or materials on the plates, as this will damage the heating surface. If the
cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.
When in frequent daily use, set the brush on a damp towel, or in a brush
holder between applications.
Electrical converters
CANNOT
be used.
