Driving and Operating

Because the vehicle has antilock
brakes, do not tap into the vehicle's
brake system. If you do, both brake
systems will not work well, or at all.

Trailer Wiring Harness

All of the electrical circuits required
for the trailer lighting system can be
accessed at the driver side rear
lamp connector. This connector is
located under the carpet at the rear
corner of the cargo compartment.

Trailer Sway

Control (TSC)

The vehicle has a Trailer Sway
Control (TSC) feature as part of the
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
system. If while towing, the system
detects that the trailer is swaying,
the vehicle's brakes are applied
without the driver pressing the brake
pedal.

When TSC is applying the brakes,
the ESC indicator light flashes to
notify the driver to reduce speed.

Traction Control/Electronic Stability
Control

torque to help slow the vehicle.
TSC will not function if ESC is
turned off.
