The engine dataplate shows specific facts
about an engine. The dataplate is typically
located on the engine rocker lever cover, but
may also be located on the side of the gear
housing. The engine serial number and
Control Parts List (CPL) provide data for
ordering parts and service.

Have the following engine data available
when communicating with a Cummins
Authorized Repair Location. The information
on the dataplate is mandatory when
sourcing service parts.
