Connectors 

The SeaGauge-Remote unit has four Deutsch terminal blocks for attachment of power, 
pulse, sensor and indicator inputs. Each 12 pin plug is keyed with locking tabs for reliable 

connection. The individual crimp style pins accept up to 18 gauge wire and can be inserted 

without tools. 

The two rear connectors provide for NMEA 2000/J1939 CAN Bus and USB/Serial ports. 

NMEA 2000/J1939 use the 5-pin M12 connector. Indicator LED show CAN Bus activity 

for transmit and receive and both flash about 1 per second. 

Direct attachment to PC USB ports requires a pair of custom USB cables (provided) which 

mate with the 8 pin connector. The White USB cable is used for normal calibration 
programming with vDash and the Black USB cable is used only for special firmware updates 

of the CAN Bus interface
