OPERATION
ATTENTION: Thoroughly dissolve and mix
cleaning solutions prior to pouring into machine.

Plug machine’s power cord into grounded wall
outlet on separate circuits.
5. If using two cords, lock both front wheels (Figure
3). This is necessary to comply with international
electrical safety directives.
FOR SAFETY: Do not operate machine unless
cord is properly grounded.
FOR SAFETY: Do not operate machine with the
use of an extension cord.
6. Secure recovery lid in place.
MACHINE OPERATION
FOR SAFETY: Do not operate machine unless
operator manual is read and understood.
PRE-OPERATION AND HEATING
1. Vacuum carpet and remove other debris with
standard vacuum.
2. Inspect power cord(s) for damage.
3. Turn on both circuit breakers on the switch panel.
4. Turn on heater for 6 to 8 minutes to warm heat
exchanger. When red lights go off, the heat
exchanger is at full temperature (Figure 4).
CLEANING CARPETS
1. Activate remaining vacuum and pump switches
(Figure 5).
2. Take carpet cleaning wand in hand and squeeze
valve trigger while moving the tool in short
forward and backward strokes. (Figure 6).
WHILE OPERATING
1. Overlap each path by 50 mm (2 in).
2. Periodically check for excessive foam buildup in
recovery tank. Use Chem-Dry Defoamer to
prevent vacuum motor damage.
ATTENTION: Excessive foam buildup will not
activate the float shut-off screen.
3. To clean heavily soiled areas, repeat cleaning
path from a different direction.
4. Empty recovery tank every time water is added to
solution tank.
CLEANING WITH ACCESSORY TOOLS
1. Connect accessory tool hoses to the couplers at
the end of the hoses already attached to the
machine (Figure 7).
