If there are problems with the hard disk, we recommend to try with the

H.DISK RECOVER function described in the next pages before formatting it.

To enable the H.DISK FORMAT function, from the DISK UTILITIES menu:

Position the cursor on H.DISK FORMAT.

Push the soft key SELECT.

The display will change as follows:

Choose NO to halt the formatting or YES if you want to continue (before

proceding with the disk formatting the Megabeat One will ask you to confirm your
choice pressing the soft key YES once again).

During the formatting the display will show these words:
FORMAT IN PROGRESS.
When the operation is completed the display goes back to the UTILITIES

menu.
