To name the job, use the right arrow key to
move the cursor at least one space to the right.
Use the up/down arrow keys to cycle through
the alphabet. After arriving at the desired letter,
symbol, or number, press the right arrow key to
move to the next character field. Continue until
the name is complete. The screen should look
similar to Figure 3-19 below.

After the job has been named, press the enter
key to open the job. The screen should look
similar to Figure 3-20 below.

Enter in the first value then press enter. Con-
tinue to enter values until all dimensions have
been entered. The screen should now look like
the one below.

Now
let’s check to make sure the three trimming
options are set as desired. In the top left corner
of the screen we see that
“Cut ON” is set which
means all three sides will be trimmed.
Next, “J-
Extend
” indicates the jogger option is set for ex-
tend mode. The 3rd option shown, Stack= 0,
means the stack number is set to zero. We
should however chagne this to a 1 since we will
be trimming one book at a time.
Press soft-
key “C” for Options which will bring up
the following screen.

Now move the cursor down to Stack Num. then
press the enter key to bring up the next screen.
