Recycling

any electrical or electronic device or accumulator must be collected separately by a local system specialising in
the collection of such waste. Do not dispose of these products with ordinary waste. Check the regulations in force.
The logo shaped like a waste bin indicates that this product must not be disposed of with household waste in any
EU country. To prevent any risk to the environment or human health due to uncontrolled scrapping, recycle the
product in a responsible manner. This will promote the sustainable use of material resources. To return your used
device, use the return and collection systems, or contact the original dealer. The dealer will recycle it in accordance
with regulatory provisions.

1. Installazione del telecomando
1.1 Attivare il sensore
Registrazione della garanzia
Per registrare la garanzia, completare il modulo online all'indirizzo www.getDiO.com/warranty
2. Collegamento del telecomando a un modulo, una presa o
una lampadina DiO 1.0
Aprire la parte posteriore del telecomando usando un piccolo cacciavite a testa piatta e sfilare la
linguetta all'altezza della pila.
1.2 Cambiare la pila
Quando la batteria è scarica, il LED del telecomando lampeggia con una luce
rossa una volta ogni 4 secondi.
Per cambiare la pila:
1. Aprire il retro del telecomando e rimuovere la pila scarica.
2. Sostituire la pila scarica con una pila nuova di tipo CR2450 3V.
3. Chiudere la parte posteriore del telecomando accertandosi che i ganci
laterali siano correttamente incastrati nelle apposite fessure.
Attenzione: pericolo di esplosione se la batteria non viene sostituita
correttamente. Sostituisci solo con lo stesso tipo o tipo equivalente.
Questo prodotto è compatibile con tutte le periferiche DiO 1.0 che funzionano con il
protocollo radio DiO 1.0, oltre che con la centralina domotica DiO per eseguire il controllo
tramite smartphone.
La centralina DiO permette di controllare la propria casa da qualsiasi luogo tramite
smartphone e di rendere compatibile il sensore DiO 1.0 con le periferiche DiO 2.0. Maggiori

2.1 Collegare il sensore al ricevitore
1. Posizionare l'interruttore sulla modalità 1.
2. Avvicinare il telecomando al ricevitore, premere il pulsante di apprendimento del
ricevitore (presa, modulo – consultare il manuale del prodotto) e il LED del ricevitore
inizierà a lampeggiare.
3. Premere una volta il pulsante del telecomando per stabilire il collegamento. Il LED del
telecomando lampeggia una volta con una luce verde per conferma.
Il telecomando può essere collegato a 32 ricevitori: prese, moduli o lampadine DiO 1.0.
2.2 Programmare zone luce – funzione avanzata
È possibile creare 3 zone luce preregistrate nel telecomando utilizzando uno o più ricevitori
dimmer DiO 1.0 (presa/modulo illuminazione dimmer, lampadina a luminosità variabile).
Attenzione: Funziona esclusivamente con i ricevitori dimmer.
Programmare la zona luce 1
1. Collegare il telecomando a uno o più ricevitori dimmer (presa, modulo o lampadina) –
cfr. paragrafo 2.1;
2. Accertarsi che il telecomando sia impostato in modalità 1;
3. Con il telecomando DiO (o un altro dispositivo di controllo DiO 1.0 collegato al/ai
ricevitore/i), selezionare l'intensità luminosa desiderata;
4. Portare l'interruttore del telecomando dalla modalità 1 alla modalità 3;
5. Premere una volta il pulsante del telecomando. Il LED del telecomando lampeggia 3
volte con una luce verde, poi una volta con una luce gialla per confermare che la zona è
stata registrata.
6. Portare l'interruttore sul 2 per utilizzare la zona.
Programmare la zona luce 2 e 3
Seguire la stessa procedura utilizzata per la zona 1 ma, al punto 5, premere 2 o 3 volte il
pulsante del telecomando per registrare queste zone.
3. Annullamento del collegamento tra il telecomando e un ricevitore DiO
Se la memoria del telecomando è piena oppure si desidera annullare il collegamento con
un ricevitore:
1. Posizionare l'interruttore del telecomando sulla modalità 1.
2. Avvicinare il telecomando al ricevitore, premere il pulsante di apprendimento del
ricevitore (presa, modulo, campanello, lampadina – consultare il manuale del prodotto) e
il LED del ricevitore inizierà a lampeggiare.
3. Premere due volte di seguito il pulsante del telecomando per annullare il collegamento.
Il LED del telecomando lampeggia una volta con una luce rossa per confermare
l'annullamento.
Modalità 1 - utilizzo classico
ON: Premere una volta il pulsante per accendere uno o più lampadari, apparecchi, per
alzare le tapparelle o aprire uno o più cancelli.
OFF: Premere due volte di seguito il pulsante per spegnere o chiudere.
Variare l'intensità: Premere una volta il pulsante, poi premere di nuovo il pulsante
tenendolo premuto fino a raggiungere l'intensità luminosa desiderata (solo per i ricevitori
dimmer).
Modalità 2 - utilizzo delle zone luce registrate
Per utilizzare delle zone luce registrate in precedenza (cfr.
paragrafo 2.2), posizionare il piccolo interruttore sulla modalità 2.
5. Risoluzione dei problemi
Il ricevitore non si attiva quando viene premuto il tasto del telecomando:
- Verificare che la pila sia correttamente posizionata e che non sia scarica.
- Accertarsi che il telecomando sia collegato al ricevitore e che quest'ultimo sia
correttamente connesso.
- Verificare che il telecomando sia impostato in modalità 1 per un utilizzo classico
(accensione, spegnimento)
Importante: La portata tra ricevitore e sensore è pari a 50 m, ma può essere ridotta dallo
spessore dei muri o dalla presenza di una rete wireless preesistente.
Non utilizzare in un ambiente umido.

con una luce gialla e attiva la zona.
Spegnere la zona attiva: Tenere premuto il pulsante del telecomando per 3 secondi, il LED
lampeggia 2 volte con una luce rossa.
Attenzione: per controllare le lampade in modo classico, passare alla modalità 1 (posizionare
il piccolo interruttore del telecomando sull'1).

1.1 Activating the sensor

2. Linking the remote control with a DiO 1.0 module, socket or bulb
Open the back of the remote control with a small flat-blade screwdriver and remove the battery
tab.
1.2 Changing the battery
When the battery is low, the remote control LED will begin to flash red once
every 4 seconds.
To change the battery:
1. Open the back of the remote control and remove the old battery.
2. Replace the old battery with a new 3V CR2450 battery.
3. Close the back of the remote control, making sure that you align the side
hooks in the slots.
Caution: Danger of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly. Replace
only by the same type or equivalent type.
This product is compatible with all DiO 1.0 peripherals operating under the DiO 1.0 radio
protocol, and with the DiO Smart Home main unit for control through your smartphone.
Using the DiO main unit, you can control your home wherever you are through your
smartphone and also make your DiO 1.0 sensor compatible with DiO 2.0 peripherals. For

2.1 Linking the sensor with the receiver
1. Set the switch to mode 1.
2. Bring the remote control close to the receiver and press the receiver learn button (socket,
module – see product manual); the receiver LED flashes.
3. Press the remote control button once to link them. The remote control LED flashes green
once to confirm.
The remote control can be linked to 32 receivers: DiO 1.0 sockets, modules or bulbs.
2.2 Programming your lighting moods – advanced function
You can create 3 pre-recorded lighting moods in your remote control using DiO 1.0
dimmer(s) (socket/dimmer lighting module, dimmable bulb).
Warning: Only works with dimmers.
Programming your lighting mood 1
1. Link your remote control to your dimmer(s) (socket, module or bulb) – see paragraph 2.1.
2. Make sure that the remote control is set to mode 1.
3. With the DiO remote control (or another DiO 1.0 controller linked to the receiver(s)),
select the brightness you require.
4. Slide the switch on the remote control from mode 1 to mode 3.
5. Press the remote control button once. The remote control LED flashes green three times
and then yellow once to confirm that the mood has been recorded.
6. Slide the switch to position 2 to use the mood.
PProgramming your second and third lighting moods
Follow the same steps as for programming mood 1, but at point 5, press the button on the
remote control 2 or 3 times to record these moods.
3. Deleting the link between the remote control and a DiO receiver
If the remote control memory is full or you want to delete a receiver:
1. Set the remote control and switch to mode 1.
2. Bring the remote control close to the receiver and press the receiver learn button
(socket, module, doorbell, bulb – see product manual); the receiver LED flashes.
3. Quickly press the remote control button twice to unlink them. The remote control LED
flashes red once to confirm deletion.
Mode 1 - conventional use
ON: Press the button once to turn on your light(s) and device(s) or to open the shutter(s)
or gate(s).
OFF: Quickly press the button twice to turn them off or close them.
To vary the brightness: Press the button once, then press again and keep pressed until
you reach the brightness you want (for dimmers only).
Mode 2 - using recorded lighting moods
To use previously recorded lighting moods (see paragraph 2.2),
set the small switch to mode 2.
5. Troubleshooting
The receiver is not activated when the remote control is pressed:
- Check the polarity of the battery and/or that it is not flat.
- Make sure that the remote control is linked to the receiver and that the receiver is
connected correctly.
- Check that the remote control mode is set to 1 for conventional use (turn on, turn off)
Important: The range between the receiver and the sensor is 50 m, but this may be
reduced by the thickness of the walls or a currently wireless environment.
Do not use in a damp location.
