TOTAL COUNTERS: This option allows you to consult the total counters, which are the 
following:  emission  exceeded  (in  seconds),  reception  exceeded  (in  seconds),  sensor 
inactive (in seconds) and total number of deletions.

VERSION  AND  SERIAL  NUMBERS:  Showing  the  version  and  serial  numbers  of  the 
LRF-04.

DATA EXTRACTION 

As  we  saw  in  the  previous  chapter,  all  the  data  stored  in  the  LRF-04  can  be  consulted  on 
screen from  the  keyboard.  This  information  may  also  be  printed  out  by  a  parallel  printer  or 
transferred to a PC via USB connection or modem

. 

5.1 Printing the data stored in the LRF-04 

With the numerical keyboard and the LCD display it is possible to print the programming and 
all the data stored in the LRF-04 as follows: 

  Connect a printer to the PRINTER output of the LRF-04. 

  Press PRINT (F) on the numerical keyboard. The printing menu will appear on the LCD 

screen. 

  To move around the printing menu use the arrow keys (A) and (B). To select an option, 

press ENTER (C) and to quit an option press ESCAPE (E). 

  While  printing  is  in  progress,  the  LRF-04  continues  to  function,  and  after  two  minutes 

without any key being pressed the LRF-04 automatically quits the printing menu. 

  The printing menu has the following options:

Programming:  This  allows  you  to  print  a  report  containing  all  the  parameters 
programmed in the LRF-04.

LeqT Reports: Use this option to print all the LeqT records stored in the LRF-04. For 
greater  convenience,  first  introduce  the  printing  interval  (date  and  time  of  beginning 
and end). 

-

 

Session  records:  This  option  prints  all  the  session  records  stored  in  the  LRF-04 
belonging to a specific interval. 

 

5.2 Obtaining data stored with a PC 

All the data stored in the LRF-04 may be retrieved in a PC via  USB connection or modem. 
These  operations  may  be  carried  out  by  using  the  software  specially  designed  for  the 
purpose. The software is available for free on 

www.cesva.com

 (support and download). 

IMPORTANT

: Before communicating the LRF-04 and a PC for the first time, it is necessary 

to  install  the  CESVA  USB 

driver.  You  can  find  this  driver  at  CESVA’s  website 

(www.cesva.com).  Following  the  instructions  given  in  this  website,  the  installation  will  be 
easy and simple.
