Maintenance work
ATTENTION!
Pay attention to section 5 and the safety
instructions of the operating manual!
5.7.1 Adjusting the end stop of the
swivel cutting arm for full
cutting depth (swivel cut)
ATTENTION!
Pay attention to the position of the end
stop to prevent damage of the roller table
and the saw blade!
You should be able to lower the diamond saw blade
(with swivel cutting arm) about 3 mm below the roller
table top (stone supporting surface) without the roller
table being touched! (Fig. 5.3)
1. Mount the diamond saw blade as in sect. 4.3!
2. Loosen the clamping lever of the swivel arm securing
device and push the swivel arm upwards (Fig. 4.4 )!
NOTE
Leave the swivel arm clamping lever loose. The
swivel arm with the cutting head and saw blade
will stay in position because of the appropriate coil
spring!
3. Loosen the lock nut of the end stop screw (swivel
arm, Fig. 5.1 and 5.2)!
4. Lower the swivel arm with cutting head and diamond
saw blade to the depth required, (Fig. 5.3)!
5. Adjust the end stop screw to contact the clamping
screw of the swivel arm securing device and then
retighten the lock nut of the end stop screw (Fig. 5.2)!
6. Leave the clamping lever of the swivel arm securing
device loose (Fig. 4.4)!
Now the swivel arm with the diamond saw blade can be
lowered without damage to the roller table!
