Checking the adjustment of the
swivel cutting arm
DANGER!
Switch off the motor and disconnect the
bench saw from the mains supply by
pulling the plug! Secure the bench saw against
unintentional starts!
ATTENTION!
Pay attention to the adjustment of the
stop in order to prevent damage on the
roller table and the diamond saw blade!
4.4.1 Adjusting the swivel arm for
full cutting depth
The stop of the swivel cutting arm is adjusted before
delivery! Check out the adjustment of the end stop
before starting to cut, so avoiding the roller table and
the saw blade coming into contact, which would lead to
segments getting damaged (Fig. 4.26)!
1. Mount the diamond saw blade (see sect. 4.3)!
2. Loosen the clamping lever of the swivel arm securing
device and push the swivel arm (with cutting head)
upwards (Fig. 4.4)!
NOTE
Leave the swivel cutting arm free to move!
The swivel arm (with cutting head) is held in posi-
tion by the appropriate coil spring.
3. Sink the swivel arm with the cutting head and the
mounted diamond saw blade to the end stop (full cut-
ting depth, Fig. 4.26)!
4. Leave the clamping lever loosened (Fig. 4.4)!
NOTE
It is now possible to lower the swivel arm (with
saw blade) to the maximum cutting depth (end
stop) without the saw blade touching the table (dam-
age)!
For adjusting the end stop for the swivel cutting arm,
refer to chapter 5.7.1!
